The Colorado Junk Email Law, passed in the year 2000 in the month of June, rule out the sending of uncalled-for commercial e-mail that bring into play a third party's Internet address or domain name without his knowledge or permission, or enclose fake or missing map-reading information. Unwanted commercial e-mail messages have to hold a tag ("ADV :") at the opening of the subject matter line, and should take in the sender's e-mail address and opt-out directions; opt-out desires are required to be honored. The regulation applies to e-mail that is send to Colorado inhabitants via a provider service or equipment to be found in Colorado.
