I never actually sent her money, and a good thing too as I was totally taken in by her and was involved 5 or 6 long involved discussions about her art and art in general.

One thing I can verify is that she does know art and possibly is an artist of the more legitimate kind. If so, I can't say why the scams, the work I saw was very good. She contacted me on MySpace and gave me her YIM to chat. Did mention money problems but when I didn't offer a bail-out she dropped it and soon stopped IM'ing me or responding to my IM's. Told her I had money issues myself.
