Scammer developed friendship on IG. Love bombed victim and moved to Telegram. Said they needed money to come home to teenage son. Said they were widowed and deployed as a medic overseas. Victim sent money through Zelle and crypto after fake army letter stating the amount needed to release the scammer from the contract to return to the US. Believe scammer is part of a network with ties to Lagos Nigerian. Scammer lives in Cypress Texas. Formerly lived in California and Nevada.
