An online complaint describes a suspected romance-related financial scam involving someone using the name Tatyana Kozlova, reportedly from Yoshkar-Ola in Russia's Mari El Republic. According to the complaint, the person using this identity repeatedly requested money for numerous personal and family expenses. The reported requests covered everyday living costs as well as education, healthcare, household repairs and personal purchases. The complainant stated that financial assistance was requested for private English tuition, both for the sender and her son. Additional requests allegedly involved medical treatment for back pain, including visits to an osteopath, and expenses connected to a summer camp. The report also describes requests for money to repair electrical appliances and replace a toilet pan. Other alleged expenses included designer clothing, a new mobile phone and medicines for the sender's mother. The complainant further reported requests to cover taxi fares, repay a debt owed to a girlfriend and pay monthly agency fees for translating letters. The wide range of expenses raised concerns that the correspondence might have been used to secure ongoing financial support rather than develop a genuine personal relationship. Unlike travel-related romance scams involving a single airline ticket or visa payment, this complaint describes a pattern of repeated financial requests involving different personal circumstances. However, the report does not establish the total amount requested, whether money was actually transferred, or whether the stated expenses were genuine. The identity of the person behind the correspondence also remains unverified, and the available information does not establish whether the woman shown in the accompanying photograph participated in the reported activity.
