Hello. My name is Bobby from the state of Pennsylvania located in the U.S.. I have received and written emails to a woman who claims that her name was Ekaterina Ivanova from Yelets, Russia. She even has sent me some photos of herself which I now know it's not her. However, I would like for you to know that she tried to scam me after 8-9 letters by requesting me to send money to her via Western Union. Well, this threw me back when I saw her request. I may have never visited Russia and know little about their country, though I was not born yesterday. Needless to say, I kept sending and receiving emails with her for about 11 months and I informed her that I was going to be away for a short period of time. When I returned, I wrote an email to her and the email was returned to me stating "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)". SO! I decided to run a search on her through google and 'lo and behold I was shocked to see what was found. Just about everything found associated with her name had something to do with the internet dating scam. I may be a little upset about this discovery though I am glad that I found out about this information about her. What amazes me is how this person (scam artist) has written similar emails to other men. I'm glad that I did not fall for this and now I have an idea of what to watch out for and where to look. I hope that with my writing to you, this will help other men realize that they need to keep their guard up and their money left safe in the bank. letter 1:

Hi! My name is Ekaterina. I'm 26. My birthday is on May 10. I live in Yelets. This is a small city in Russia. I have never tried this, you know, correspodence on-line. But I expect a lot from what I'm doing now. I like your profail, and I want to write to you. I was always dreaming about close frendship, living in peace and presenting to each other tender and love. Well, I hope we will find a lot of common between us. My English is good (both spoken and written). Really don't know what to tell you now. I'll be waiting for any sign from you (better at least a couple of words about yourself) it will show that you are interested and I'll write you more then. Can you write me to the E-mail?
