Met scammer online, just as friends in instagram. Said he was Army Sargent in Kabul, and going to Nigeria for Assignment, then to Ca. Scammer said he came from San Antonio, Texas, owned home with 78 yr old mom, 30 yr old sister in home. I became a victim upon having relationship issues with spouse, and his friendship was of concern, then love by April. Was never able to get an mil. address. Had gotten only hangouts messages and 3 very very brief phone calls, in times of cutting it off. Gave in and sent used IPhone6+ , 2-$50 $$ Amazon, and 1-$50 Steam card. First cards, no issue. The Steam card info was emailed to Paul, "Paul" sent a copy of TA from his friend to me, saying card was used already, different language was above it, but it looked asian block letters, saying funds where used. Thru search of Steam, I questioned the $$ disappearing, and notified funds were out within 10 mins of him receiving card. He then Asked for another one. I said, no. During same time, scammer sent a recommendation to add a friend named, Avalon, Michael. The picture of Michael, I knew to be fake.Called him a fake, but I had already sent the phone, insured, and tracking to Nigeria to a man he said was in Army helping them. Name was, Adekunkle Olujobi, Address listed No. 23 opp aud one osun, Ikere, Nigeria, 23401 As of today, 4/24/29 phone still sittings Nigerian Post Office. "Paul said he got the phone on 4/16, but stated the phone was useless because he needed funds to unlock. Wanted another $50. or we would lose contact. I told him I didn't give a shit, and that he can go sell the fin phone, Cut him off, finally realized I was being scammed. Contacted Army, They said it was a Scam.
Phone tracking was just updated several hours, on 4/24, shows phone was picked up, and it was done, day after " Paul" said he had gotten the phone, but told me that having no $$$ he couldn't unlock the phone or to do Face to Face. Paul has cont. to send missing you notes on Hang outs, to this day. Army crime report done, but advised already on my report, he's a scammer, but if he's using this guys photos??? He seems to have a lot photos, English good with exception of misspellings.

Subject still trying to use Instagram to scam, and even tries to continue contacting victim, even when blocked. Trying to apologize, but noting issue with phone sent, trying to entice. Note: Picture is NOT same man, who talks on phone! Victim is unaware if military man is aware, as pictures are convincing. Victim found the real name of the military man, as pictured. His first name, is not, Paul, and he does not reside in Texas.
