I unexpectedly received several e-mails with photos from this person and despite not replying to them she thanked me for my kind letters!The last two said that she planned to come to Cyprus on 26/05/2021 to meet me for three weeks and the last one which purported to be from Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. wrote that she needed 420$ to be "allowed" to travel and which she would give back to me on arrival! There were links to western union sites among others and a copy of her passport attached to the e-mail.

I replied in Russian that I had realised from the start that it was a scam and that I had friends in Russia in "high places" who would check it out! Not surprisingly I never received any more e-mails from her!
