Vera began writing to me. She said she was attracted to me. Her letters became more and more friendly. She said she wished to come to the US to meet. It was obvious to me that something was wrong from the start. After two weeks she said she needed money for air fare. Later she said that she needed to post a bond in order to receive a visa. I have traveled all over the world... I know this to be untrue.
