Kenneth Lay

Kenneth Lay is an American fraudster and the former CEO of Enron. He was convicted for wire fraud, securities fraud and misleading statements in the year 2004 which made Enron bankrupt. It was the largest bankruptcy ever at that time leading 20,000 people jobless and billions of loss to the investors.

He was indicted for six counts and was found guilty. The trial sentence was scheduled in September of the year 2006; but never happened as Lay died in June 2006.
