Nick Leeson is a stock market genius who became a fraudster to maintain his genius position. “Leeson who had been the manager of Barings Future and Options, Singapore branch, involved himself in stock and futures trading with the bank's account which brought a massive profit to Barings in the year 1993; thus getting a bonus of hundred thousand pounds from the company for his accomplishment”. He traded again with the Barring's money and this time it went downhill.
He hid his loss by forging the documents and blaming his subordinates but it didn't last for long.
