LetterI've always believed that the little things are what matters the most. Personally, I think life is about relationships, the little seeds of appreciation - without expecting something back, respect, joy, gratitude, trust, affection, care, etc. that make for a healthy relationship to flourish. I believe a little smile back could be what the person standing next to you just need to feel loved. The summation of the little gestures (a helping hand, warm smiles, a short note card just because, small gift for no reason, celebrate achievement, breakfast on bed, a tender touch, talk about your day, a small bear to put a smile on your face while you are sick) is usually the best big gesture. A single rose, a gentle and romantic touch, a short note in her bag, a morning cup of coffee, a call during the day to check up on her, is as important as throwing a big birthday party for her, getting her a car or an expensive piece of jewelry. This is my thought and I guess you might not agree but it's mine. You are welcome to share yours with me.
