Reports :
He said his name was Michael a U.S. Army engineer deployed in Syria. His profile had pictures in uniform, dusty boots, even a video of helicopters in the background. We met on Instagram. I wasn’t even looking for love, but he was persistent kind, respectful, even funny. He called me “his safe place.” Said he was counting the days until he could come home and finally meet me. I fell for it. Every good morning, every late-night check-in, it all felt so real. Then came the twist: he couldn’t access his military bank account. Said he needed $1,000 to request leave and come see me. I hesitated but I wanted to believe in him. I wired the money. A week later, he asked for more this time for “exit documents.” That’s when I started questioning everything. I searched his photos using ProFaceFinder and found the same man same uniform, same smile being used in scams reported by women all over the world. It wasn’t just me. He was never “Michael.” He was never a soldier. I lost money, yes but the worst part was losing trust in something I thought was real.Related Male Scammers:
