The scammers use his picture and information to contact older women to state how much they love them. They setup what appears to be legitimate personal information about this man. They stated he is from Florida and a construction engineer. After a few emails, they stated he was going to Egypt on a contract and they state their equipment is lost and need to replace the equipment, yet they need additional money to obtain new equipment.

They ask for a loan of $10,000 or more and will repay you. This same type of information has been used before with a different gentlemen's picture. A contract in Egypt, lost equipment, request to loan money with repayment. When he returns, he is coming to marry the lady. Another example is requesting your send their child a birthday gift. This same type of information has been used time and time again.
