Hi dear,
How are you? I hope my message yesterday didn’t offend you—I certainly didn’t mean anything personal by it! It was just my perspective on life. As they say, "so many men, so many minds," and reading your reply made me realize just how true that is.
Thank you for your photo. I really liked it! Now I’m even more eager to meet you. Yes, your name is quite common in the United States!
I believe people used to be wiser and kinder, which is why they lived longer and happier lives. But if I want to change my future, I know I must start with myself. I respect you, your views, and your thoughts.
This morning, I went to the gym before work. I try to go every day and focus on cardio workouts—they help me stay in shape and keep my mind clear! I also do my best to eat healthily, avoiding heavy and fatty foods. Taking care of myself is important because I plan to live a long and happy life!
Lately, I’ve been wondering—why haven’t I met the right man here? Men in the United States are just like men everywhere else—some are decent, some are lazy. That’s not the issue. The real problem is the mindset. Here, most people only think about today; very few plan for the future.
For example, I’ve always dreamed of opening my own dental lab to create prostheses and implants. But the bureaucracy and paperwork make it incredibly difficult. Without connections, it’s nearly impossible to get the necessary permits. And even if I managed, there’s no guarantee my business would survive. Corruption is everywhere—someone more powerful could take it away in an instant. Even the courts are influenced.
That’s what scares me most—not the challenges, but the lack of fairness. There’s no civic engagement; people just go with the flow and are afraid to demand change. I love my country, but I can’t see myself building my future here. I’ve long dreamed of living and working in a place where democracy and freedom of speech truly exist, where the government listens to its people.
Honestly, I’ve been looking for a reason to call you for a while now. A real conversation would be a fresh step forward for us!
Yesterday, after work, my friend Inga and I went to a cafe to chat and treat ourselves to something sweet. She asked how things were going between us. I told her that we’re discussing different topics, learning more about each other’s views on life. But she said that if I want things to grow, I should take action!
She suggested that I enter a scholarship program again, which could allow me to study in Germany. The best part? It wouldn’t require any financial commitment from either of us! This could be an exciting adventure—a new chapter for both of us. And that’s why I want to call you!
I won’t take "no" for an answer! There’s nothing to worry about—no need to be nervous. If you refuse to talk on the phone now, I might start to think you’re not taking this seriously. And I don’t want to feel like I’m just entertainment for you.
So, in your next email, I expect you to send me your phone number! It’s important. I’ll call you from work, so it won’t cost either of us anything. I know you’ll support this idea, and I promise it will be a great conversation. I’ll also be mindful of the time difference when I call.
What do you think about this? And what’s new with you? What are your plans for the near future?
I’ll be waiting for your reply—especially your phone number!
Yours,
Natalie (Natalyja)
