Reports :
Details of a scam perpetrated by Liudmila, known as "Mila". I would like to report and describe in detail a well-orchestrated scam methodology that I have experienced, in order to warn potential victims. The scammer, Liudmila, known as Mila, uses a manipulative approach via chat. Her technique consists of convincing the victim that she wants to travel to her country of residence, stating that she is in a war zone and urgently needs to get away, but does not have the necessary funds for the trip. To avoid a direct transfer of money, and therefore an immediate perception of a scam, the victim is induced to directly purchase a travel ticket online on behalf of Mila. Currently, it seems that this scam is particularly effective using bus tickets departing from Ukraine. Once she receives the ticket, Mila regularly begins her journey. However, she never arrives at her destination. The sophistication of the scam lies in the fact that Mila reaches a pre-established city (either in Ukraine or abroad), where she already has contacts or intends to settle. At that point, she contacts the victim, justifying the failure to continue the trip with the excuse of having met a "very good friend" who hosted her and with whom she has formed a strong bond, deciding to stay at her place. I learned about the real dynamics of this scam thanks to the intervention of Mila's friend herself, who contacted me on Telegram and revealing the entire fraudulent architecture underlying it. All the facts and details presented here are true and verifiable.
