Scamming scenario:
This woman contacted me first, found my name and e-mail at a website in Russia. I did not renew my membership at websites for single people, and the websites still do not delete all of the info. She used a series of letters that are a template used by other scammers. She claimed to be of the Ugarity nationality, that the Finnish embassy in the U.S. has given her a grant to study in the U.S.A. on a student visa, that she can come to me and will have thousands of euros to spend on her education. At the last minute before her flight to the U.S.A. she is short of money and demands $240 sent to her by Western Union or moneygram. The letters she sent to me were templates I have had sent to me by many other scammers. All fake, just wants money from me for her visa within a strict time limit - I must act NOW and send her the money, or she cannot get the student visa and come to me. Just another scam now being used by hundreds of Russian girls.
