I responded to a Tinder match for a Bernice. she said that she was a widower with a daughter and two grand daughters. she said that she was semi retired Petroleum Engineer. she said that she was taking a 3 week contract on a oil rig in Scotland. she sent me a copy of her award certificate from BP. I google her phone number to find a mailing address to send her a card. What I found were several derogatory comments. I took a picture of the comments and emailed them to her. she denied that they were her. she had no address because she had to sell her house in order to finance this drilling project. At first I was going to block her phone number and email address. I decided to wait and see how far he would go. Her assignment kept getting postponed. she told me that a major piece of equipment broke down and would have to be replaced at the cost of $500,000. she was able to raise all but $2,000 of it. she said the she was desperate for the money, so she asked me for it. I nicely explained to her that I was kind, but not stupid. she is now blocked.
