Scammers typically initiate contact through unsolicited phone calls, emails, or pop-up messages, claiming to be representatives of Geek Squad and offering technical support or assistance with computer issues. They may use various tactics to convince victims to provide remote access to their computers, install malicious software, or purchase unnecessary services or software subscriptions at inflated prices.
