Scam Scenario

This guy contacted me first on Interpals in March 2020. We exchanged messages there for a few weeks. I didn't go to the site regularly so he wanted to be in touch with me more and using Hangouts or WhatsApp. We ended up using WhatsApp all the time. He told me he was half Algerian half Indian, had moved to the US a long time ago. His wife died a few years ago, he has a teenage daughter. They live in New York. He said he's working as a civil engineer and during the year we talked he was in Turkey as a contractor. He is a very charming personality, knows how to use words. Sent morning messages and songs with lovely lyrics. Also wishes for good night. During the day a lot of messages. At first it was only texts on WhatsApp as he told because of his work he can't call. But as the months passed by he started calling. More and more. His English was quite good but he talked with a strong accent. I was a bit surprised because of all the years he was supposed to been living in the US. He likes to talk about movies and soccer. He knows a lot about soccer, especially he was into the English league and the Champions league. And he also likes to have intimate talks and chats. But he doesn't tell much about his daughter or more about life at home. But then he started to ask for money. He did that many times during a year. His bank account was frozen all of a sudden and he would have needed money for his ongoing project. Last time he asked money so he could go home.
