ATM Cash Withdrawal Scam Report
ATM Cash Withdrawal Scam Report
Description :
On 17th July 2025, between 2:50 PM and 3:10 PM, I was approached by two males near an ATM beside SimplyFresh convenience store, close to Warren Street Underground Station, London. They claimed to be Irish tourists unable to access their funds due to issues with their Irish bank card. One man, who introduced himself as Robert Woods, appeared to be in his 40s–50s, had white hair, wore a gold-colored watch, and had Emporio Armani glasses with noticeable branding. The second suspect, believed to be his son, was younger (late teens to early 20s), with blonde hair.
They offered to transfer £500 into my account if I could withdraw cash for them. Although no money appeared in my account, they convinced me to withdraw and hand over £150, which was all I had. They provided a WhatsApp number (+44 7883 262044) for follow-up, but the number later appeared suspicious, and the bank account details they gave me seem to be fake.
