They may use various tactics to deceive victims, such as offering cash rewards for completing surveys, requesting personal or account information under the guise of verifying identity, or urging recipients to click on malicious links to claim supposed refunds or benefits. Once victims provide their information or engage with the scam, scammers may use it to steal funds, commit identity theft, or access sensitive financial accounts.
