The message lists help contact number 1-805-827-7149 and assistance call line 1 805 793 6764. It also includes invoice ID DHCPXIX5OH, invoice date Wednesday, 01 July 2026, billing item PayPal to Terra (LUNA), total $490.37, quantity 0.022, and an e-wallet ID beginning with ced99feb. The notice also states that it is powered by Coinbase exchange LLC Crypto Exchange, which appears intended to make the message look more legitimate. This type of scam is designed to scare victims into believing that a PayPal crypto purchase or exchange transaction has already been processed. Scammers often use fake invoices, cryptocurrency names, wallet IDs, payment gateway language, and refund instructions to pressure victims into calling quickly.
