630-310-6386 - A BOA award and PCH-style lottery scam has been reported involving the phone number 630-310-6386. The report says the call came as a cold call from a Verizon line and the caller used the name John Daven. The caller allegedly claimed the victim had won 25 million dollars and then asked for an Amazon gift card. This is a common prize and award scam pattern where scammers pretend to represent a bank, award department, Publishers Clearing House, or another official-sounding prize organization. They use large winning amounts to create excitement and then request gift cards, prepaid cards, taxes, processing fees, delivery charges, or verification payments before the fake prize can be released. Asking for an Amazon gift card is a major warning sign because legitimate banks, sweepstakes companies, and prize organizations do not require winners to pay with gift cards. Scammers may speak slowly, use official-sounding names, and pressure victims to act quickly before they have time to verify the claim. Anyone contacted by 630-310-6386 claiming to be John Daven, BOA, PCH, or an award department should be cautious. Do not buy Amazon gift cards, do not share card numbers, and do not provide banking or personal information. Verify any prize claim only through official channels and report suspicious calls to the proper authorities.
