Votness Scam Report
Votness Scam Report
Description :
The Facebook ad identified as JC Penney overstock. I ordered 3 pair of sandals and paid $26.13 via credit card. I received a confirmation email from Votness.com. A shipping website was attached. The shipping website had no identification on it and only vague updates were reported. The website claimed delivery after over 30 days, However, I received no package. I reported this to the company. After checking my property extensively, as well as asking all my neighbors if they received my package, Votness offered to resend the package at no additional cost, and make a stipulation that the package needed to by signed for. I agreed, and was sent the same shipping website, tracked the package for over 30 days again, put delivery instructions on my door as suggested, and asked my daughter to be on the alert as she is home during the day. I again received notification via the tracking website on May 25, 2024. Again, no package. I reported this to the company the next day. They cannot provide me with any information about what delivery service was used, or who signed for the package. The company is claiming "significant losses" and now wants to offer my a 60% refund to recoup their losses. In my opinion, if this is legitimate, the company should be trying to recoup their loss from the delivery service, not the customer. I actually think this is a scam, and they are making 40%-100% profit on something they had no intention of delivering I have refused their offer.
