The report includes a suspicious message titled McAfee Premium Central Registry, dated Tuesday, 30 June 2026, claiming that the victim?s plan remains active with updated account records. The message lists an urgent assistance callback number as (805) 853-7512 and 1-805-853-7648, along with a project management address in Fort Myers, Florida. It claims that an automated transaction summary for an upcoming service renewal cycle will pass through within 24 hours for $328.52 USD. The notice also lists details such as client index core EETC1N3RHQ, covered utility Smart Coverage Protect, coverage duration of 5 years, activation security lock 96b87e1d-4b96-4b29-8dc5-f6cfa9c8b364, operational head Pamelia Karen, and job trace #YCRO7QC4OC34R7. The calendar invitation was organized by Charles Scott using charlesscott@reenivo.com, with the guest list hidden. This type of scam is designed to make victims believe they are being charged for McAfee antivirus protection or a renewal plan. Scammers use fake billing language, callback numbers, calendar invitations, transaction codes, and urgent refund instructions to pressure victims into calling. Once the victim calls, the scammer may pretend to be McAfee billing support or refund support and ask for credit card details, banking information, passwords, verification codes, or remote access. Anyone receiving a message connected with these numbers should not call back, should not open suspicious calendar links, and should verify McAfee billing only through the official McAfee website or app.
