A phone number reported as (805) 827-7881 has been connected with a suspected Target gift card scam, refund scam, fake order scam, wallet payment scam, and phishing attempt. The report states that the victim received a text-link message claiming that a $500 Target Gift Card had been processed. The fake message listed order ID TTYU65GC, dated 26 June 2026 at 09:14 AM, and claimed the order was officially paid from the recipient?s wallet account and ready for delivery. It provided a so-called secured access delivery link at taregtdigitagiftcard.drvx.net and told the recipient to click the link to claim the gift card. The message also said the recipient could call +1 (805) 827-7881 for help or to cancel within 30 to 40 minutes. This type of scam is designed to make victims believe that a Target gift card purchase has already been paid from their wallet or account. Scammers use fake order IDs, urgent cancellation windows, gift card wording, suspicious claim links, and toll-free-style support language to pressure victims into clicking or calling quickly. Once the victim calls 805-827-7881 or visits the link, the scammer may pretend to be Target support, gift card support, wallet billing, or a refund department agent. They may ask for banking details, credit card numbers, passwords, wallet login information, verification codes, or remote access to the victim?s device. Warning signs include suspicious non-Target links, unexpected gift card orders, urgent cancellation instructions, and requests for private information. Anyone receiving a message connected with this number should not click the link, should not call back, and should verify Target orders only through the official Target website or app.
