The message claims that the recipient?s recurring coverage plan is moving into a seasonal maintenance window and that a pre-arranged invoice total of $373.34 USD is scheduled to execute within the next 24 hours. It also lists a receipt analytics dashboard with registry key handle OMMIWRUMDT, product classification Smart Care Solutions, duration frame span of 5 years, net invoiced rate of $373.34 USD, and security anchor lock b4e0d661-7991-4054-a766-9d911e4350e9. The notice is signed as Norton LifeLock Protection with accounts manager Evon Arndt and also lists phone number (805) 832-1425, along with a team management address in Golden Valley, Arizona. This type of scam is designed to make victims believe that a Norton LifeLock subscription renewal or antivirus protection charge is pending. Scammers use fake voucher tickets, billing dashboards, account manager names, invoice amounts, and urgent helpdesk numbers to pressure victims into calling. Once the victim calls, the scammer may pretend to be Norton billing support, LifeLock support, refund support, or a cancellation agent. They may ask for credit card details, banking information, passwords, verification codes, or remote access to the victim?s computer. Anyone receiving a message connected with these numbers should not call back and should verify Norton billing only through official Norton channels.
