This scammer contacted me on philipines loves and claimed to be a RN working in Philippines. She said that instead of my having to apply for a 1k fiancée visa she could qualify easily for an H1b work visa without having to first have an employer sponsor which appears to be a lie. She started by asking for money for an inexpensive passport, I sent it and she produced receipts which were now known to be fake. She also failed to give an estimated total cost of this project, which I had NO IDEA it would come to a loss of $5800. I know it was but I got caught up and item by item she would produce what appeared to be legitimate receipts and claimed that if she failed even ONE REQUIREMENT all would be lost. So I got suckered.
RipandScam has been fighting scam for over 15 years, saving millions of dollars for potential victims from scammers. However, the economic model of the anti-scam industry has been severely disrupted by large corporations, leaving us struggling to survive and even maintain our website. While dedicated anti-scam websites like RipandScam are fighting to stay operational, scammers continue to defraud people of millions.
