Fake Emails Take Advantage of Your Generous Nature

This is the instance of year that many charitable trusts will be requesting you to open your hearts and wallets to help out others in need. And scammers are exactly in the drama to take benefit of your charitable nature.

Be cautious with the emails that appear to come from big charities such as Red Cross and UNICEF. These scams use images and domain names that depicts as the genuine thing it’s very hard to notify the variation. But when you click a link to contribute, you’re directed to a Web page that has NOTHING to do with the charity!

When in distrust, make your donation through the organization’s Web site or use their toll-free number.  Additionally, be definite to pay with your credit card to guard yourself from scam.
