This report concerns an online profile using the name Smith Harlene<\/strong>. The profile reportedly used the email address smithlene@list.ru<\/a><\/strong> and claimed to be located in Luhansk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conversation began with a friendly message addressed to someone the sender did not personally know. The sender explained that many men had contacted her before, promised love, and later disappointed her. She then suggested that the recipient might be different from the others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This type of introduction appears designed to make the recipient feel special and trusted from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message quickly moved from casual conversation to an emotional story involving the sender\u2019s best friend. According to the message, the friend had recently received a driving licence and was travelling to an institute in an older Ford Escort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sender claimed that the friend was in a hurry and was speaking on the phone while driving. At a traffic light, she allegedly failed to notice a jeep and crashed into the back of it, damaging the bumper and breaking a headlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sender stated that the authorities arrived and that the friend\u2019s car was not insured. She then claimed that the friend was required to pay 3,000 euros<\/strong> to the owner of the jeep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the story, relatives and friends had already collected 2,760 euros<\/strong>, leaving only 240 euros<\/strong> unpaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sender then asked the recipient to lend the remaining 240 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said the money had to be paid within five days and added emotional pressure by saying that she hoped the recipient would not remain indifferent to the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message also included a promise to repay the money and asked the recipient to reply through another email address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This creates an important warning sign because the email address in the message was different from the email address shown on the profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message was written in unusual English and contained many grammatical errors. This may suggest that it was translated automatically or copied from a prepared script. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the conversations continued, the connection became more personal. The person used affectionate words and began speaking about love, loyalty, trust, and a serious future. The attention felt consistent and meaningful, and the messages were often sent in a caring tone. I slowly started trusting the person because the communication felt emotionally supportive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, I realize how carefully the trust was built over time. Nothing seemed rushed in the beginning, and each conversation appeared natural and sincere. The person always knew the right words to say, making me feel understood, appreciated, and emotionally secure. Because the relationship developed gradually, I did not recognize the warning signs until much later. The communication quickly became frequent and gradually developed into what felt like a romantic relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the relationship became more serious, the person spoke about love, commitment, loyalty, and a future together. They used affectionate words, made promises, and created the impression that the connection was genuine. This made it difficult for me to question their intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, I now recognize a clear pattern. The person first built trust through kindness and regular communication, then created emotional closeness through promises of love and a future together. Over time, I noticed changing explanations<\/strong>, repeated delays, and promises that were never fulfilled. Plans to meet or verify identity were postponed, and whenever I expected proof, another excuse appeared.
