Tatyana Kharchnko operates primarily from Russia, and she tends to target men through online dating websites and social media. She builds trust with potential victims by communicating with them online and building a relationship with them. Notably, she often offers to send the victims money or expensive gifts. Once she has gained her victims\u2019 trust, Tatyana Kharchnko typically transitions to a different type of fraud. She will request money, ostensibly to help her with a problem she is having such as an expensive medical bill or travel expenses. Victims of Tatyana Kharchnko\u2019s scams have reported losing vast amounts of money. Although victims are unable to recoup their losses, Tatyana Kharchnko continues her activities unscathed.
