In romance fraud, Francas typically poses as a lonely, wealthy single woman looking for a loving relationship. She then attempts to gain her victim\u2019s trust by sending them gifts and money. Eventually, she will ask for more money for a variety of reasons, such as medical bills or to help out a family member. She also may ask for personal information, such as bank account numbers or credit card numbers. In investment scams, Francas attempts to lure victims into investing in a variety of schemes. She may offer a guaranteed return on investment or promise a quick and easy way to make money. She may even offer to manage the victim\u2019s investments for them. In reality, she is simply taking their money and never providing any real returns. In other types of fraud, Francas may offer to sell items such as luxury goods or electronics.
