Six People Arrested Over Virtual Vehicle Scam<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Six people have been arrested by officers investigating a major “virtual vehicle scam”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Yorkshire Police said four men and two women were detained after warrants were executed in Rotherham, Doncaster, Essex and Hampshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrests were made as part of an operation targeting online fraudsters claiming to sell vehicles at reduced prices, then pocketing the money and leaving the buyer empty handed.Read more<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

January 24, 2023 –<\/em> The City of Fort Wayne has become aware of fraudulent emails going to residents who may have applied for jobs with City Utilities. The email presents a time and date and asks residents to respond for an online interview. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
