Under a Maryland consumer defense regulation passed in the year 2002 in the month of May, it is against the law to mail a commercial send message that use a third party's domain name with no permission; that include fake or misplaced direction-finding information; or with a bogus area under discussion line. The regulation applies if a note is sent from inside Maryland; if the correspondent be acquainted with that the receiver is a Maryland inhabitant.
