Hey, long time no talk, its Jake from Rock N Roll Books writing to let your band know about a new project Im involved in, a sampler featuring original rock/metal songs along the same basic lines as Sixx, but it can be any style, influence, etc. The sampler is being released in conjunction with the launch of Sex Drugs & Rock N Roll Magazine’s debut issue this coming Feb. The first issue will feature a cover story with legendary Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen, as well as story’s on 50 Cent, the Guru of Ganja Ed Rosenthal, and interview with porn legend Ron Jeremy and others to be announced shortly. Every participating band will recieve an artist profile in the magazine, which will include a band bio, photo, and brioef album review if you have a new record coming out, or perhaps one released in 2011. Well also have copies of the sampler itself as well as physical copies of the print issue upon release in mid-March (the digital debut issue launches in February online). Additionally, all included bands will also be included in all foreward-going press releases associated with the magazine’s upcoming launch as interviews are added, etc. As with the Sixx book sampler, there is an inclusion fee, this time of $40, which secures the band’s slot and helps defer some of the sampler CD pressing costs, promo print copies pressing and shipping, etc. The physical magazine pressing WILL INCLUDE DISCS packaged with the retail issues of the mag, just to answer that question, as well as be available for download online from the magazine site, which will be up in the next couple days, but is still VERY MUCH under construction right now. I have a limited number of slots left so please try to discuss this with the band and get back with us asap if you want a spot. Thanks! Jake, SDRR Mag
